The Mexican american veterans association was founded by Mr. Ralph Villa from cicero, IL. He felt that there was a need to address the issue of the mexican american contributions to our united states of america.  Inside the basement of his cicero home he built an impressive museum to honor mexican americans who served in all wars. in march of 1985 mr. villa and his officers came to the quad cities and began ground work to organize the next chapter of his dream.
